Program and Activities
To provide arts, education, creation, development and presentation of work for locally¬-based community theater and public schools within locally underserved and underrepresented low-to-moderate children and communities nationally with the United States and abroad. Programs include but are not limited to commissions, workshops of new work, presentation of workshop productions and staged readings.
We provide core curriculum to targeted populations to help develop new work and/or work that targets voices and visions currently underrepresented in people such as young adults, and the underserved targeted population. All of our artistic creation and development programs offer arts participation and public engagement by providing ongoing public access so the work can help impact the public and communities at large.
Many of our audience development programs includes, but are not limited to free/reduced price ticket distribution, education programs, and outreach initiatives, public television and radio programming, The purpose of these programs are to enrich the audience members’ understanding or experience broader cultural understanding, diversity of people’s cultural and social experiences, and circumstances that harmfully impacted the underserved communities with hardened financial burdens.
Bring underserved individuals and communities through arts and culture, arts education, live performances, digital media, public television and radio for everyday people to have a platform for creative expression of real social issues that harmfully impact their communities and personal lives.
We inspire people to use arts and culture to promote sustainability through local workforce development and economic opportunities.
