AFICE promotes international understanding via the personal bonds that are formed by cultural exchange. Families in the US host high school aged students from around the globe, helping them understand what life in America is really like. At the same time, those families are exposed to other cultures on a direct personal level, forming friendships that often last a lifetime. The ultimate goal is to engender peaceful relations between the various peoples and cultures of the world.

Our VISION is to offer international education that broadens intercultural empathy and insight in ways that go beyond the classroom and into the very fabric of our lives.
Our MISSION is to expand the horizons of American families and teenaged students from around the globe through the challenge of helping the students become a functioning part of an American family, school, and community, thus promoting peace at the most basic and local level via the bonds of friendship and family.
