Become an Education Superhero! Tutor in a NYC PublicSchool!

Project Description:
If you have just two hours a week to spare to make a difference in the life of a NYC public school student, this is the opportunity for you! Learning Leaders, the nation's oldest and largest school volunteer program, is currently recruiting for elementary and middle school tutors for the 2012-2013 school year. Volunteers will help to support students in Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, and the Sciences.

Additional Skills Required:
Minimum age: 18 years Flexible opportunity but must be willing to commit to a minimum of two (2) hours per week for the entire school year. Must attend four (4) training sessions for elementary school and two (2) trainings sessions for middle school to be certified as a Learning Leaders volunteer.
